So this is what good housekeeping looked like in 1917


Now that's the life; sitting around in a nice gown, drinking wine and having a smoke.  Looking like you have no cares in the world.  No screaming kids, nagging husband, grouchy granny, laundry, cleaning, dinner to be made.  Just complete serenity.  I wish I was there.

She does have that look about her but remember.....back then there was no internet and social networking! Oh what a bore to only lounge around and look pretty. hee hee
